About us
The story of Kolbice started in 2012. The two founders developed and licensed this product together. Their goal was to create a unique, Hungarian, quality street food bringing the eating of pastry and sausage to a new level. Since 2015 the two founders, accordingly their own ideas and values, have continued their work separately.
My name is Tamás Radnai, the owner and founder of Reinpold's Kolbice. I am married, father of four children, also founder and owner of several other companies.
It is important for me that the meat content of our sausages could be at the maximum level with top quality ingredients. Besides meeting the quality requirements, constant quality checks and constant product development, we can improve dynamically. Moreover, for us it is hugely important that vegans, vegetarians or people with gluten or lactose intolerance could find different products for themselves.. Our sausages, except the vegan sausage, are gluten-free, soy-free and lactose-free.
Our gluten-free cone is made in a 100% gluten-free environment; furthermore, it is milk-free, egg-free and lactose-free. Our list of products is constantly adjusted to the needs of our customers; hence we have both permanent and seasonal offers. Kolbdog was introduced at the beginning of 2015 and then KOLBbox was presented at the end of that year.
We offer traditional Bavarian and Hungarian sausages, along with curry sausages which are made following the original German curry wurst; or for those who would like to choose lighter meals there is our chicken sausage made from 100% chicken breast fillet and oregano.
Due to the dynamically improving franchise activities of the company, more and more of our stores are opening. So you can find our stores not only in Budapest but in ten other big cities in Hungary as well.
Our franchise network has become international. We have partners from England, Germany, Austria and Slovakia. We feel important to mention that besides the financial opportunities, we provide constant development and technical support for our partners. Our customers have already seen our food trucks at different international festivals and events and it will be the same in the future as well.
